Somos NC: Voices from North Carolina’s Latinx Community

Somos NC: Voices from North Carolina’s Latinx Community contains oral histories collected by students in Dr. Amanda Boomershine's SPN 490: Service learning and research class and SPN 215: Spanish for Bilingual Speakers class. The students interviewed first and second generation Latinx North Carolinians on a variety of topics including language, culture, immigration, and education. Most interviews were conducted in Spanish or a mixture of Spanish and English.
